  1. Make a good crust.
  2. Cleanse a piece of salmon well.
  3. Season the salmon with salt, mace and nutmeg.
  4. Lay a little piece of butter at the bottom of the dish.
  5. Lay your salmon in the dish.
  6. Melt butter according to your pye.
  7. Boil a lobster.
  8. Pick out all the fleshy chops from the lobster small.
  9. Bruise the lobster body.
  10. Mix the lobster well with the melted butter.
  11. Season the lobster and butter mixture until it is very good.
  12. Pour the lobster and butter mixture over your salmon.
  13. Put on the lid of the pye.
  14. Bake the pye well.

To make a Salmon Pye. MAKE a good crust, cleanse a piece of salmon well, season it with salt, mace and nutmeg, lay a little piece of butter at the bottom of the dish, and lay your salmon in. Melt butter according to your pye; take a lobster, boil it, pick out all the fleshy chops small, bruise the body, mix it well with the butter, season it till it be very good; pour it over your salmon, put on the lid, and bake it well.
