  1. Cut up your fowl as for eating.
  2. Put it in a tossing-pan.
  3. Add half a pint of gravy, a tea-spoonful of lemon pickle, a little mushroom catchup, and a slice of lemon.
  4. Thicken it with flour and butter.
  5. Just before you dish it up, put in a spoonful of good cream.
  6. Lay sippets round your dish.
  7. Serve it up.
