  1. Steep a few thin slices of bacon all night in water, to take out the salt.
  2. Lay your bacon in the dish.
  3. Beat eight eggs with a pint of thick cream.
  4. Put in a little pepper and salt, and pour it on the bacon.
  5. Lay over it a good cold paste.
  6. Bake it a day before you want it in a moderate oven.
