  1. Boil two ounces of sago till it is quite thick in milk.
  2. Beat six eggs, leaving out three of the whites.
  3. Add half a pint of cream, two spoonfuls of sack, nutmeg and sugar to your taste to the beaten eggs.
  4. Put a paste round your dish.
  5. Combine the boiled sago mixture with the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the combined mixture into the prepared dish.
  7. Bake until set.
