  1. Prepare apples as before, by boiling and straining.
  2. Have ready half an ounce of isinglass, boiled in half a pint of water to a jelly.
  3. Put this to the apple water, and apple as strained through a coarse sieve.
  4. Add sugar, a little lemon-juice, and peel.
  5. Boil all together, and put into a dish.
  6. Take out the peel.
