  2. Beat the flour and milk for half an hour.
  3. Then put in three eggs, and beat it a little longer.
  4. Grate in half a tea-spoonful of ginger.
  5. Dip the cloth in boiling water, butter it well, and flour it.
  6. Put in the pudding, and tie it close up.
  7. Boil it an hour.
