DISSOLVE your isinglass, and put to it two ounces of sweet and two ounces of bitter almonds, with as much juice of spinage as will make it green, and a spoonful of French brandy, set it over a stove fire till it is almost ready to boil, then strain it through a gauze sieve, when it grows thick, put it into a melon mould, and the next day turn it out garnish it with red and white flowers.
