Cheese Sandwiches. Cut some crumb of bread in rounds, toast it, butter the toasted rounds, put grated cheese between each two of them, and heat up in the oven. Another copy says: 2 ozs. grated cheese, 2 ozs. pounded ham, a little made mustard and seasoning and the beaten-up yolk of an egg. The mixture is put between 2 fried croûtons.
