Vicarage Pudding. (Beechwood.)
6 eggs well beaten up together, leaving out the white of
one. Then add 1 tablespoonful of flour, 1 pt. of good milk, and
a little salt.
Mix them well together, and let them stand 2 hours. Then
stir them and tie them in a basin covered with a cloth. Put the
basin into boiling water, and let the pudding boil for ½ hour.
Turn it out on to a dish, and cover it with a wine sauce.
