Eve's Pudding.
6 ozs. each of bread-crumbs, apples chopped fine, currants,
sugar, 4 fresh eggs well beaten, 1 tablespoonful of brandy, a
grate of nutmeg.
Boil 4 hours. Serve with a frothed sauce, such as Miss
Byrom's German Sauce (see German Sauce, No. 1, under Sweet
Sauces).
