Ingredients (5)

six ounces of loaf sugar ↝ Sugar, NFS [Sugars and honey]
a pint of boiling water ↝ Water, tap [Tap water]
a quarter of a pint of lemon-juice ↝ Lemon juice, raw [Fruits and Fruit Juices]
the same quantity of sherry
three-quarters of a pint of cold milk ↝ Milk, NFS [Milk, reduced fat]

Instructions (5)

Dissolve six ounces of loaf sugar in a pint of boiling water.
Mix with them a quarter of a pint of lemon-juice, and the same quantity of sherry.
Add three-quarters of a pint of cold milk.
Stir the whole well together.
Pass it through a jelly-bag till clear.

DELICIOUS MILK LEMONADE.

Dissolve six ounces of loaf sugar in a pint of boiling water, and mix with them a quarter of a pint of lemon-juice, and the same quantity of sherry; then add three-quarters of a pint of cold milk, stir the whole well together, and pass it through a jelly-bag till clear.
