COVER your dish with a thin puff-paste, and then
take candied orange or lemon-peel, and citron, of each an
ounce. Slice them thin, and lay them all over the bot-
tom of the dish. Then beat up eight yolks of eggs, and
two whites, and put to them half a pound of sugar, and
