  1. Cover your dish with a thin puff-paste.
  2. Slice candied orange or lemon-peel, and citron thin.
  3. Lay them all over the bottom of the dish.
  4. Beat up eight yolks of eggs and two whites.
  5. Add half a pound of sugar and half a pound of melted butter to the eggs.
  6. Mix the whole well together.
