  1. Grate the crumb of a penny loaf, and put it into a pint of milk.

  3. When cold, add the yolks of five eggs, three ounces of sifted sugar, and some grated nutmeg.
  4. Fry them in hog's-lard.
  5. When done, pour melted butter, wine, and sugar, into the dish.
