  1. Gather your penny-royal when it is full grown, but not so far advanced as to be in blossom.
  2. Fill your cold still with it, and put it half full of water.
  3. Make a moderate fire under it, and distill it off cold.
  4. Then put it into bottles, and after two or three days, cork it up for use.
