  1. Half boil the cauliflower.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into handsome pieces.
  3. Lay the cauliflower into a stewpan with a little broth, a bit of mace, a little salt, and a dust of white pepper.
  4. Simmer for half an hour.
  5. Add a little cream, butter, and flour.
  6. Shake and simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Serve.
