  1. Mix one pound and a half of dried flour, with half a pound of sugar.
  2. Melt a pound and two 227ounces of butter in a little warm water.
  3. Add six spoonfuls of rosewater, and knead the above into a light dough, with half a pint of yeast.
  4. Then mix five ounces of carraway comfits in, and put some on them.
