  1. Truss the rabbits close.
  2. Wash the rabbits well.
  3. Boil the rabbits white.
  4. Boil the onions by themselves, changing the water three times.
  5. Strain the onions well.
  6. Chop and butter the onions.
  7. Add a quarter of a pint of cream to the onions.
  8. Serve up the rabbits covered with onions.
