Quickly-made Scones 1 pint sour milk 1 tea-spoon carbonate of soda 2 tea-spoons melted butter Flour Add the butter to the milk. Dissolve the soda in it. Stir in sufficient flour to make a dough[Pg 119] that can be rolled out. Mix. Roll out lightly and quickly. Cut into round shapes. Bake in a quick oven.
