Layer Cake—III 8 ozs. sugar 5 eggs ¹⁄₄ lb. butter 1 tea-cup milk 12 ozs. flour 1 tea-spoon baking powder Beat the sugar with the eggs for fifteen minutes. Melt the butter and add it.
