  1. Put the lavender-neps and water into a cold still.
  2. Make a slow fire under it and distill it off very slow.
  3. Put the distilled water into a pot until all water is distilled.
  4. Clean the still well out.
  5. Put the lavender water into the still and distill it off as slow as before.
  6. Put it into bottles and cork it well.

TO every twelve pounds of lavender-neps put one quart of water, put them into a cold still, and make a slow fire under it, and distill it off very slow, and put into a pot till you have distilled all your water, then clean your still well out, and put your lavendar water into it, and distill it off as slow as before, then put it into bottles, and cork it well.
