  1. Put 5 cloves stuck in the third part of a lemon in a basin with 4 or 5 breakfast lumps of sugar.
  2. Pour a tumbler of port wine all but boiling over it.
  3. Keep stirring it whilst burning it for a few second with a lighted paper.
  4. Bottle it, and take a few spoonfuls when faint.
