Lemonade. No. 1. (1884.) Caldy. To make 2 gallons. Ingredients: 3 lemons to 1 lb. of loaf sugar. Boil the sugar and the lemon peel cut very thin, for about ¼ hour in a small quantity of water, then squeeze the lemons, and mix all together. More or less sugar can be used. Strain when cold, and serve.
