St. Andrew's Pudding. (Beechwood.)
1 tablespoonful of flour mixed with a little milk; add the
yolks of 3 eggs, beat all well together. Sweeten to your taste,
and flavour with a few drops of essence of kernel or vanilla.
Have some boiling milk ready, in which mix it well till it
becomes a thick paste, then add the whites of the 3 eggs beaten
to a stiff froth. Mix all well together, and put it in a pie-dish
into the oven. Bake for nearly an hour in a moderate heat.
