  1. Mix 1 tablespoonful of flour with a little milk.
  2. Add the yolks of 3 eggs and beat all well together.
  3. Sweeten to your taste and flavour with a few drops of essence of kernel or vanilla.
  4. Have some boiling milk ready, in which mix the flour and egg mixture well until it becomes a thick paste.
  5. Add the whites of the 3 eggs beaten to a stiff froth.
  6. Mix all well together.
  7. Put it in a pie-dish into the oven.
  8. Bake for nearly an hour in a moderate heat.
