  1. Sift the flour and baking-powder together.
  2. Beat the butter to a cream.
  3. Add the sugar and beat again.
  4. Add the flour, marmalade and well-beaten yolks.
  5. Beat the whites to a stiff froth and add them last.
  6. Pour into a buttered basin and steam for an hour and a half.
  7. Turn out and spread with a little marmalade.
  8. Serve with a sweet sauce.
