To make Milk Water. Take agrimony, enlive funetory, baum, elder flowers, white nettles, water cresses, bank cresses, sage, each two handfuls; eye-brights, brook lime, and celandine, each two handfuls; the roots of yellow dock, red madder, fennel, horse-radish and liquorice, each three ounces; raisins stoned one pound, nutmegs sliced, winter bark, turmerick, galangal, each two drams; carraway and fennel seed three ounces, one gallon of milk. Distil all with a gentle fire in one day. You may add a handful of May wormwood.
