Beef Steak Pie. TAKE some rump steaks, and beat them with a roll- ing-pin; then season them with pepper and salt to your palate. Make a good crust, lay in your steaks, and then pour in as much water as will half fill the dish. Put on the crust, send it to the oven and let it be well baked.
