Quaking Pudding.
TAKE a quart of cream, boil it, and let it stand till al-most cold; then beat up four eggs very fine, with a spoon-ful and a half of flour: mix them well with your cream: add sugar and nutmeg to your palate. Tie it close up in a cloth well buttered. Let it boil an hour, and then turn it carefully out. Pour over it melted butter.
