  1. Boil potatoes till fit to mash.
  2. Rub the mashed potatoes through a colander.
  3. Make into a thick batter with milk and two eggs.
  4. Lay some seasoned steaks in a dish.
  5. Add a layer of batter over the steaks.
  6. Pour the remainder of the batter over the last layer.
  7. Bake until a fine brown.
