  1. Beat six whole eggs with 1/2lb. of caster sugar till thick and white like cream.
  2. Mix in gently 1/2lb ground sweet almonds and 3oz. finely sifted flour (previously mixed with the almond meal), a spoonful at a time.
  3. Flavour with a drop or two of essence of almonds.
  4. Put this into the prepared mould.
