  2. Put on them a gallon of the best brandy.
  3. Bruise the stones in a mortar, then put them in your brandy.
  4. Cover them up close, and let them stand a month or six weeks.
  5. Then pour it clear from the sediments, and bottle it.

To make BLACK CHERRY BRANDY.
