  1. To every peck of the peeps of elder flowers put two gallons of strong ale allegar.
  2. Set it in the sun in a stone jug for a fortnight.
  3. Then filter it through a flannel bag.
  4. When you bottle it, put it in small bottles, it keeps the flavour much better than large ones.
  5. Be careful you do not drop any stalks among the peeps.
