  1. Take half a pint of strong lemon jelly (see recipe), flavour it with brandy or any liqueur, colour part of it with a few drops of Marshall's Sap Green ; then pour it, about a tenth of an inch thick, on a tin or dish and let it set; then stamp it out into rings and use.
  2. For the diamond shaped garnish colour the remaining part of the jelly with Marshall's Liquid Carmine, add the flavouring, put it similarly into a tin and leave till set, then stamp it out into the desired shapes, and use.
