  1. Put into a whipping tin six raw yolks and two raw whites of eggs, one ounce of castor sugar, a saltspoonful of vanilla essence, half a wineglass of maraschino, and half a wineglass of Silver Rays (white) rum.
  2. Whip these over boiling water till warm.
  3. Remove the tin from the fire and whip the contents till cold and thick.
  4. Add a quarter of a pint of whipped cream.
  5. Pour the mixture into the mould and finish as directed above.
