  1. Wash the Rowan berries well.
  2. Boil them in a pan, with just enough water to cover them thoroughly, for about 15 minutes till the water has a slightly bitter taste.
  3. Strain through a jelly bag.
  4. Give weight for weight of sugar and boil like apple jelly.
  5. Then pot it.

Rowan Jelly. No. 1.
