“Passover Cakes.” (Beechwood.) These are the same mixture as Our Cream Biscuits, but the size of top of girdle almost. Not pricked. 1 lb. superfine flour makes 14 round cakes the size of a plate. Bake (to a nice brown) on a girdle, turning the cakes when they begin to blister on one side; the baking will take 5 minutes.
