Brandy Sauce (Cold) for Plum Pudding. To 1½ ozs. of butter melted in the oven, add the yolk of an egg, mix well for some minutes in a basin, then add 2 spoonfuls of sifted sugar and pour in 2 or 3 spoonfuls of brandy very gradually.
