  1. Grate a little of the outside rind of a Seville orange.
  2. Squeeze the juice of it into a dish.
  3. Throw the peels into water, and change it often for four days.
  4. Set a sauce-pan of water on the fire, and when it boils put in the oranges.
  5. Mind to change the water twice to take out the bitterness.
  6. When they are tender, wipe.
