An Approved Receipt to preserve BUTTER. By Dr. ANDERSON. TAKE two parts of the best common salt, one part sugar, and one part salt petre; beat them up together, and blend the whole completely. Take one ounce of this composition for every fixteen ounces of butter, work it well into the mass, and close it up for use.
