  1. Boil and press the fruit.
  2. Strain the juice.
  3. By degrees mix into the juice as much ground rice as will, when boiled, thicken to a jelly.
  4. Boil it gently, stirring it.
  5. Sweeten to your taste.
  6. Put it into a bason or form.
  7. Serve to eat as the before directed jelly, with milk or cream.

Cranberry and Rice jelly. Boil and press the fruit: strain the juice; and by degrees mix into it as much ground rice as will, when boiled, thicken to a jelly.
