HOW TO PREPARE A SAVOURY CUSTARD.
To one table-spoonful of Robinson's Patent Barley add rather more
than half a pint of good beef tea; mix and stir over the fire for five
minutes, and you have a light yet invigorating kind of food for the
debilitated stomach, which in its results will prove far more satisfac-
tory than any preparation known.
Note.—This delicate custard may also be advantageously prepared
with broths made from mutton, game, or poultry.
